Grant Sutton

Grant Sutton has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Grant has held various finance and management roles in different industries. Most recently, they have been the Chief Financial Officer at Poolwerx Corporation Pty Ltd since June 2023. Prior to that, Grant worked at Retail Food Group from 2019 to 2023, where they held positions such as Head of Commercial, Head of Procurement, Head of Retail (Franchise) Finance, and Group Finance Manager. Grant also worked at CBRE as Finance Manager & Controller - Pacific from 2018 to 2019. Before that, Grant was the Group Finance Manager at IPG Mediabrands from 2016 to 2018, where they were responsible for providing financial information and managing financial teams. Grant also worked as a Financial Controller at Initiative from 2015 to 2016 and 303Lowe from 2013 to 2015, handling national financial responsibilities in both roles. Grant has prior experience in management accounting and special contracts at dunnhumby in 2012. Grant also worked as a Senior Management Accountant at Lowe and Partners Worldwide from 2006 to 2011 and as a Management Accountant at HMV from 2003 to 2006. At the beginning of their career, Grant worked as an Accounts Assistant and HR & Payroll Manager at Granite and Marble Industries from 1999 to 2003. Throughout their career, Grant has demonstrated strong financial management skills, successfully implementing system migrations and introducing business partnering strategies. Grant has also been involved in implementing key policies and maintaining high employee retention rates within their teams.

Grant Sutton has a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree in Business/Commerce from UNISA, and a Human Resources Diploma in Human Resources Management and Services from Varsity College. Additionally, they have completed the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) program in Accounting and Business/Management at BPP University.
