Jaakko Hietala

Jaakko Hietala is an accomplished business professional with extensive experience in the banking and sports sectors. Currently serving as Business Director at both Lakeuden Osuuspankki and Lapuan Osuuspankki within the POP Bank Group since March 2010, Jaakko has held various roles including Bank Director and Marketing Manager. Additionally, Jaakko is actively involved in Basketball Finland as a Board Member and Vice Chairman of the Board at Keskinen alue, and serves as Chairman of the Board for Korikobrat. Jaakko also holds vice chairman and board member positions at Lapuan Sanomat since January 2019. Prior experience includes various finance management roles at OP Financial Group from October 2006 to February 2010. Jaakko obtained a Master’s Degree in Management from the Turku School of Economics and has a background in high school education from Lapuan lukio and Whitesboro High School.
