Erika Villanueva Vaca

Erika Villanueva Vaca is an experienced mental health professional currently serving as a Mental Health Coach at POP Recovery Systems since April 2025. Previously, Erika held the role of Social Work Specialist at BakerRipley, where responsibilities included coordinating the DVAF program to assist survivors of domestic violence and facilitating community support groups for crime victims. Erika's earlier experience includes work as a DEI Intern at Hellman & Friedman, where engagement with Spanish-speaking employees helped improve diversity initiatives, and leading as the Avid Tutor Lead at Sheldon ISD, focusing on college readiness for students. Erika's academic credentials include a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Houston-Clear Lake and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Houston.
