Katarina Elmelind

Katarina Elmelind began their career in 2003, working part-time in customer service and accounting at Swedbank while studying at Uppsala University. Katarina then worked at PwC as an Authorized Public Accountant from January 2009 to February 2013. In this role, they primarily audited large public companies, as well as privately owned companies and subsidiaries of multinational companies. Katarina served as a project leader for many clients, taking responsibility for risk assessment, audit approach, budgeting, reporting, coaching team members, and reviewing work performed.

In 2013, Elmelind joined Cision as the Head of Financial Control, Group Reporting. Their responsibilities included ensuring compliance with IFRS and Nasdaq OMX rules for issuers, consolidation, interim reports, external audit coordination, and reporting to the Audit Committee. Katarina also worked as a Financial Controller, specializing in consolidated financial statements, consolidation, cash flow analysis, and internal control review of subsidiaries in various countries.

From 2016 to 2022, Elmelind worked at Systembolaget AB as the Head of Financial Control. In this role, they oversaw financial control activities, contributing to the company's financial stability and performance.

Most recently, in 2022, Elmelind joined Pophouse Entertainment as the Head of Group Financial Control. In this position, they are responsible for financial control activities within the company.

Katarina Elmelind completed a Leadership- and Mentorship program at Spader Ess ♠️ from 2019 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained their Master of Science in Business and Economics from Uppsala University between 2005 and 2009. No further information about their field of study is provided.
