Nazmul Ahmed has a diverse work experience spanning over several organizations. Nazmul started their career as a Sales Assistant at Iceland Food Plc, where they focused on customer care and maintaining stock levels.

In 2008, Nazmul joined East London Business Alliance as part of their Community Affairs Trainee Scheme.

In the same year, they also started working at Poplar HARCA, where they held various roles. Nazmul began as a Graduate Intern and extended their placement to one year. During this time, they worked on report writing, statistical analysis, and event planning. Nazmul also launched new initiatives such as treats on payday and a staff blog.

Later, Nazmul worked as a Communications Officer, covering for maternity leave. Nazmul gained experience in press releases, internal communications, and brand promotion.

Nazmul then transitioned to the role of Service Delivery Officer, where they managed policies, procedures, and corporate performance. Nazmul also handled the complaints and correspondence service.

Nazmul eventually became a Project Coordinator, where they focused on internal service improvement projects and organizational development initiatives. Nazmul also took on the role of Data Protection Officer and was responsible for embedding data protection practices throughout the organization.

In 2015, Nazmul became the Business Support Manager, leading a team to provide internal consultancy services. In 2016, they were promoted to Head of Business Support, where they led a team of think tanks and helped position the organization for maximum impact.

Currently, Nazmul holds the position of Assistant Director of Business Support Services at Poplar HARCA.

Nazmul Ahmed attended Harry Gosling Primary School from 1991 to 1998, completing their Early Years education with a focus on "Happy Days." Nazmul then went on to Sir John Cass Secondary School from 1998 to 2003, earning their GCSE degree. Afterward, from 2003 to 2005, they attended Tower Hamlets College for their A Level degree. Finally, they pursued Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from City University (GB) between 2005 and 2008.
