Rico Mok

Rico Mok is the Co-Founder and CTO at Poplar Homes. Rico has over 8 years of experience in the tech industry, having co-founded 3 companies.

Rico's first company was BuildACircle, a social network for businesses, which they co-founded in June 2010. The company was later acquired by Google in October 2012.

In February 2011, Rico co-founded Buynomial.com, an e-commerce platform that allows users to buy and sell products and services online. The company was later acquired by Moments in August 2011.

Rico's third and most recent company is Moments, a social media platform that they launched in October 2012. The company has been successful, with over 1 million users as of January 2014.

Rico Mok holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Operations Management Information Systems from the Santa Clara University Leavey School of Business, as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Santa Clara University. Rico also holds a high school diploma from Bishop O'Dowd High School, and an Australian International School - Hong Kong.
