Stefaan Watté

Stefaan Watté has extensive work experience in various managerial and leadership roles. Stefaan currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Poppies Bakeries, a position they have held since September 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Castrol as a Plant Manager and Continuous Improvement Manager for the EMEA region in 2022. From 2019 to 2022, Stefaan worked at Volvo Group, where they held the positions of Operations Manager and VPS Director. Before that, they worked at Alpro as an Operational Excellence Program Coordinator and Senior International Maintenance Process Manager from 2008 to 2018. Stefaan has also held positions at Betafence, AMI Semiconductor (now ON Semiconductor), and Ferromatrix, where they served in various managerial capacities.

Stefaan Watté attended Ghent University from 1989 to 2005, where they earned a MSc degree in Engineering with a focus on Metallurgy.
