Alyssa Keene is an experienced educator and support advocate with a focus on early childhood education and emotional support. Alyssa currently teaches at The Washington Market School while also serving as a Miscarriage and Loss Support Advocate at Poppy Seed Health. Previous roles include Co-head Teacher at The Town School, Lead 2’s Teacher at Congregation Beth Elohim, and various teaching positions at Brooklyn Friends School. With an academic background that includes a Master of Education in Early Childhood Special and General Education from Bank Street College of Education, an MSW from New York University, and a BA in Feminist and Gender Studies from Colorado College, Alyssa combines educational expertise with a strong foundation in social work and child advocacy.
