Jake Hay

Jake Hay has had a long and varied career in the communications and advertising industries. Jake began their career in 2014 as an Account Executive at PRactical ADvantage Communications. In 2015, they took on roles as Communications Consultant for Esotech and Public Relations for Bolt Public Relations. In 2016, they became Partner, Head of Business Development for PopShorts. In 2018, they joined the U.S. Department of State as a U.S. Speaker Program, and also became Advisory Board Member for Be A Doer. In 2020, they were appointed Webby Awards Judge and Lovie Awards Judge, and in 2022 they took on the role of VP of Partnerships for the American Advertising Federation.

Jake Hay is currently enrolled in a Master of Business Administration (MBA) program at Boise State University, which they began in 2020. Prior to this, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Public Relations and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Sociology from California State University, Fullerton. Jake also holds an Associate of Arts (AA) in Communications from Cuesta College and a Golden State Seal Diploma from Folsom High School. Additionally, Jake has obtained several certifications, including Communication 'In the Crunch' from Texas A&M University, Discussion Leader Training from Texas A&M University, Effective Communication from FEMA, Home Based Business from Texas A&M University, Ordained Minister from Universal Life Church, Public Information Officer Awareness from FEMA, and Social Media in Emergency Management from FEMA.
