Alyaa Abo Shahba

Alyaa Abo Shahba is an experienced professional in journalism and science communication. Currently serving as the Assistant Editorial Director at Rose El Youssef and as a Science Editor for both Scientific American Magazine and Popular Science, Alyaa has also been a Freelance Journalism Trainer since 2015, providing training at various institutions, including the Journalists Syndicate and Cairo University. Previous roles include Head of Department at Rose El Youssef and Investigative Reporter at Masrawy.com. Alyaa actively participates in science journalism forums, delivering webinars on investigative journalism techniques. Educationally, Alyaa holds a degree in Mass Communication from Ain Shams University, completed in 2004.
