Marina Galperina is a seasoned editorial professional with extensive experience in managing and editing content across various media platforms. Currently serving as Managing Editor at Popular Science since March 2022, Marina has led the "From the Archives" series for the magazine's 150th anniversary and oversees the assignment and editing of feature articles and news content. Previous roles include Features Editor at Gizmodo Media Group, where Marina focused on unique narratives and organized themed packages, and Senior Editor at Gawker. As the founding Editor in Chief of Hopes and Fears, Marina built an independent publication, leading a diverse team on multifaceted stories. Additionally, Marina has contributed to several other organizations, including Fast Company, ANIMALNewYork, Flavorwire, AOL, and ARTnews. Marina holds a BA from New York University and has studied at the University of Southern California and California Institute of the Arts.
