Cristina Pedraza

Cristina Pedraza, Esq., CIC has extensive work experience in the insurance and financial industry. Cristina has held various senior positions at Popular Insurance LLC, including roles such as Senior VP Business Development & Strategic Alliances Manager, Senior VP Business Development & Sales, and SVP New Business Development & Strategic Planning. In these roles, they focused on expanding the company's insurance products digital presence, implementing sales and marketing campaigns, and supporting new product innovation. Prior to Popular Insurance LLC, they worked as a VP & Manager Legal & Compliance, where they developed and managed compliance programs and procedures. Additionally, Pedraza has served as a Faculty Member for the CISR Programs at The National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research, offering topics such as Agency Operations and Risk Management. Cristina also has experience as a Senior Financial Analyst in the Financial Planning Department at Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria, and as a Senior Auditor at KPMG. Overall, Pedraza's work experience demonstrates their expertise in insurance, compliance, business development, and financial analysis.

Cristina Pedraza, Esq., CIC holds a Juris Doctor degree in Law from Universidad de Puerto Rico, obtained between 2001 and 2005. Prior to that, they completed a BBA degree with a double major in Finance and Accounting from the University of Puerto Rico, Río Piedras, from 1993 to 1997. Cristina obtained their high school diploma from University High School (UHS) in 1993. In addition to their academic achievements, they have obtained certifications such as Attorney at Law, Esq. from the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico Supreme Court in 2006, Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) from The National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research in 2005, and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the PR Accounting Board in 1998. Furthermore, they hold various insurance licenses in Life, Property & Casualty, Title, Accident & Health, and Parametric Microinsurance from the Puerto Rico Office of the Commissioner of Insurance.
