Gabriel Marrero Lopez

Gabriel Marrero Lopez, M.B.A., has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Gabriel currently holds the role of Operations Team Lead at Popular since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Wire Transfer Specialist from May 2019 until October 2022. Before that, they were a Collections Specialist at Popular from September 2013 to May 2019. In addition to their experience at Popular, Gabriel also served as the President of Liga de Baloncesto BPPR starting in February 2020. Earlier in their career, they worked as a NYK Line and Dole Line Shipping and Logistics Specialist for Imports and Exports at Oceanic General Agency, Inc. from November 2012 to August 2013.

Gabriel Marrero Lopez obtained their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Sports Management and Finance from Inter-American University of Puerto Rico - Metropolitan Campus, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. Subsequently, they pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) specializing in Marketing and Economics from the same institution, completing their degree in 2014.
