Rakesh Kumar Sharma is the current Director of Compliance at Population Health Services in India. Rakesh has over two decades of experience in the healthcare industry, having served in various leadership positions at PATNI HEALTHCARE LIMITED, Shalby Limited, and Wockhardt Ltd.
Sharma began their career in healthcare as a Regional Head at Wockhardt Ltd., where they were responsible for managing the Nashik, Nagpur1, and Nagpur2 units. Rakesh was successful in turnaround of these units and achieved 100% business growth. Rakesh also oversaw all aspects of project management, from freezing drawings to successful commissioning of the projects.
In 2015, Sharma joined PATNI HEALTHCARE LIMITED as Sr. Vice President (Projects and Operations). In this role, they were responsible for operational excellence, EBIDTA improvement, new initiatives, business development, and expansion. Rakesh successfully increased the company's profitability and expanded the business into new markets.
In 2017, Sharma became the Director of Compliance at Population Health Services. In this role, they are responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and overseeing all compliance-related activities.
Rakesh Kumar Sharma has a background in business administration and management from Harvard University and Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya. Rakesh also has a PhD in hospital management from CMJ University and a M. Phil in hospital administration from TGOU, Delhi.
