Nadia Afrin

Director, External Communications at Population Services International

Nadia Afrin is the current Director of External Communications at Population Services International. Nadia has over 9 years of experience in the fields of Communications and Knowledge Management. Nadia has worked with a variety of organizations including the World Bank Group, UNICEF, TetraTech, and the Islamic Development Bank. In their most recent role as Head of Communications and Knowledge Management at the SME Finance Forum, Nadia was responsible for leading a team of communications and KM professionals to develop and implement strategic communications plans.

Nadia Afrin's educational career includes a Bachelor of Arts in Business-Economics and Astrophysics from Agnes Scott College, a summer program at the International Space University in Space Studies, and a Science Technology and Public Policy program with a focus on Space Policy and International Development from The George Washington University. Nadia also has certification from the New York Film Academy in Cinematography and Documentary Filmmaking.
