Jiaying Yang

Jiaying Yang currently serves as an Associate at Populous since November 2024. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Urban Designer at both Cross Works from July 2023 to November 2024 and Benoy from January 2017 to June 2023, where Jiaying also held the position of Urban Designer. An early career included an Urban Planning Internship at China Academy of Urban Planning & Design in late 2014 and an Architectural Internship at China Architecture Design & Research Group in July 2013. Jiaying Yang earned a Master of Architecture in Urban Design from The Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL between 2015 and 2016. Additional educational pursuits include a Filmmaking Certificate achieved in 2022 at London Film School and another course completed at London Film Academy in February 2024. The academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Engineering in Urban Planning from the School of Landscape Architecture, BFU, completed in 2015.
