Beatriz Rey

Beatriz Rey is a Postdoctoral Fellow at USP - Universidade de São Paulo and a Fellow at POPVOX Foundation, with ongoing experiences as a Columnist for The Brazilian Report since October 2020. Previous roles include Senior Researcher at UERJ and SNF Agora Visiting Fellow at The Johns Hopkins University, along with a Congressional Fellow position at the American Political Science Association. Beatriz has also contributed as a Research Assistant and Research Fellow in various academic settings and served as a reporter and editor for Revista Educação. Beatriz holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Political Science from Syracuse University, a Master of Arts in Political Science from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Graduate Degree in International Economic Negotiations from Universidade Estadual Paulista Júlio de Mesquita Filho, and a Bachelor's degree in Communication, Journalism from Faculdade Cásper Líbero.
