Filka Barbutova

Filka Barbutova has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Filka started their career in 2008 as a Finance Administrator at IBM Global Services, where they were responsible for data processing and administration.

Filka then transitioned into the field of software testing, working as a Software Test Engineer at Mavenir, testing telecom software and systems. Filka also worked as a Test Analyst and Senior Test Analyst at Accenture Bulgaria, testing e-commerce sites built on Salesforce Commerce Cloud, and leading testing activities on various projects.

In 2012, Filka joined Codix as an SQA, performing manual testing and participating in discussions to improve requirements for a debt collection application. Filka also provided first-level support.

Filka then moved into the role of Business Analyst at emerchantpay ltd, where they helped stakeholders define their needs, managed integrations with third-party software providers, and created and maintained process-driven documents.

Filka later joined poq as a Technical Business Analyst, working on creating technical and business requirements in collaboration with Solutions Architects. Filka also translated solutions and requirements into written documentation and user stories.

In 2022, Filka became a Senior IT Business Consultant at DIGITALL, followed by their current position as a Technical Business Analyst at poq.

Throughout their career, Filka has demonstrated expertise in various domains, including finance, telecom, and e-commerce. Filka has strong analytical and communication skills and is experienced in gathering and documenting requirements, as well as facilitating client sessions.

Filka Barbutova's education history includes multiple degrees and specializations. Filka completed a QA Complete Course at Pragmatic - IT Learning & Outsourcing Center from 2014 to 2015. Prior to that, they attended the University of Nancy 2 in France from 2006 to 2008, where they obtained a Master's degree in European Studies/Strategic Communication and Public Relations in Europe. In 2004 to 2005, Filka pursued a Specialization in Portuguese at the University of Porto in Portugal. Their earliest academic experience was at Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski in Bulgaria from 1996 to 2001, where they earned a Master's degree in Portuguese Philology, French Language and Literature.

In addition to their formal education, Filka Barbutova has obtained several certifications. Filka became a Contentsquare Certified Partner in May 2021. In February 2017, they achieved the ISTQB Certified Tester, Foundation Level certification.
