Ruth-Marie Cason

Ruth-Marie Cason possesses extensive experience in the education sector, with a career spanning over two decades at Poquoson City Public Schools. Currently serving as an Administrator since October 2021, Ruth-Marie previously held the role of Assistant Principal at Poquoson Elementary School from August 2016 to November 2021. Prior to that, Ruth-Marie was a Special Education Teacher for grades K-2 at Poquoson City Public Schools from August 1999 to July 2016. Ruth-Marie holds a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Special Education from William & Mary, completed in 2000, as well as a Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts in Education in Kinesiology, Psychology, and Special Education, obtained in 1990 from the same institution. Education began at Canterbury School of Florida, where Ruth-Marie earned a high school diploma in 1986.
