Joshua Steffan

Joshua Steffan is the current VP & Group GM of Inspection & Real Estate at Porch. Joshua has also served as the President and General Manager of Inspection Support Network from January 2020 to December 2021. Prior to that, they were the Chief Operating Officer (COO) and General Manager of Home Bay from January 2019 to December 2020.

At Home Bay, Joshua was responsible for P&L and all businesses and functions including Mortgage, Brokerage, Escrow, Accounting, Sales, Marketing, Product, Engineering and Operations. Joshua successfully raised A-2 bridge round of financing and conceived and launched Offer Management SaaS product for agents in under three months. Additionally, they increased revenue by 40% YoY through improved conversion and service attachment. Joshua also restructured the organization and cut unnecessary spending to reduce cash burn by over 50%. Furthermore, they redesigned the digital lead funnel and sales process to reduce CAC by 43%. Lastly, they implemented a customer experience program that drove a 70 point gain in NPS.

Joshua Steffan earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with Honors from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Their fields of study included marketing, finance, entrepreneurship, and econometrics. Prior to earning their MBA, Joshua Steffan earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) with Honors in Computer Science from Northern Illinois University. Joshua has also completed the Innovation Acceleration Program at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and the Advanced Leadership Development Program at the Center for Creative Leadership.
