Sally Haldorson

Sally Haldorson has over 25 years of experience in bookselling and a strong passion for literature. Sally started their career in 1998 at Porchlight Book Company, where they held various roles such as Customer Service, Customer Service Manager, Writer/Editor, and Creative/Marketing Team member. Sally joined the company after completing their BA in English and Creative Writing at St. Olaf College. In May 2014, Sally became the Managing Director at Porchlight Book Company. Prior to this, they worked as an Adjunct Instructor at Upper Iowa University from 1996 to 1998.

Sally Haldorson’s education history includes a Master's degree in Creative Writing from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, which they completed from 1995 to 1997. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in English Literature and Creative Writing from St. Olaf College, which they pursued from 1989 to 1993. Sally also received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Literature and Creative Writing from the same institution during the same time period. In addition to their formal education, Sally obtained a certification in Pay Strategy from Lynda.com in December 2016.
