Peter Murphy

Peter Murphy has a diverse work experience that spans over three decades. Peter began their career in the Royal Navy, where they served for 16 years in various senior training and operational roles. Following their military service, Peter joined the East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust as the Director of HR & Corporate Affairs. During their tenure, the organization achieved several significant milestones and accolades, including Foundation Trust status and being named the Dr Foster Hospital of the Year. Peter was also a Director of a private healthcare facility under the Trust's ownership. Most recently, they served as the Director of HR for Porchlight Charity, where they were responsible for overseeing all HR and volunteer issues.

Peter Murphy has a Bachelor's Degree in Geography from Durham University, which they obtained from 1977 to 1980. Peter then pursued a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from Durham University between 1981 and 1982. Afterwards, they attended Southern Cross University from 1996 to 1997 to earn a Postgraduate Certificate in Training and Development. Furthermore, they completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Durham University Business School from 1997 to 2000. Finally, in 2002 and 2003, they obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Leadership through HR Management from Alliance Manchester Business School.
