Melissa Flores

America’s Sales Director at Porex

Melissa Flores has a rich and diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Melissa is currently employed at Porex since 2019, holding various positions such as Leader Global Account Management - Diagnostics and Global Sales Manager - Diagnostics. Prior to this, Melissa worked at Compass Logistics, Inc. as the Vice President Sales from 2018 to 2019. Before that, they were a Senior Account Executive at AIT Worldwide Logistics from 2017 to 2018. Melissa also spent a significant part of their career at UPS Supply Chain Solutions, where they held the role of Director Business Development from 2012 to 2016. Additionally, Melissa has experience as an Independent Consultant in the field of business consulting from 2003 to 2012. Melissa began their professional journey as a Program Manager at Lockheed Martin and later worked as a Program Manager/Plant Sales Representative at Howmet Aerospace.

Melissa Flores has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Dual Major - Management and International Business from Penn State University. Melissa has also taken courses towards a Master's degree in Purchasing, Procurement/Acquisitions and Contracts Management at Florida Institute of Technology. Additionally, Melissa holds several certifications including a Real Estate License obtained from Georgia in July 2017. Melissa also completed the International Freight Forwarding School at UPS in June 2014, and obtained certifications in Delivering Profitable Sales and Situational Sales Negotiation from UPS Supply Chain Solutions in April 2014 and June 2013 respectively. Furthermore, Melissa attended the Mattford Group Negotiating Solutions Workshop in November 2001.
