Anita Baker

Anita Baker is an accomplished political figure and project manager with extensive experience in municipal governance and community service. Since October 2010, Anita Baker has served as the Mayor of Porirua City Council, alongside a tenure as a City Councillor. As a Trustee for the Hutt Mana Charitable Trust since November 2016, Anita Baker has contributed to charitable initiatives in the region. Previous roles include Project Manager at Barber Construction & Jennian Homes Wellington from April 2017 to October 2019 and Sales & Administration Manager at The Banks Whitby, a land development company, from October 2002 to March 2017. Anita Baker's educational background includes attendance at Paremata School and Wellington Girls College.
