L'Tunya Bernard

L'Tunya Bernard currently serves as the Elementary Science Supervisor for Port Arthur Independent School District since July 2019 and has been the Program Director of Middle School Science at Aldine Independent School District since October 2016. In this role, L'Tunya collaborates with district leadership to develop effective science programs aimed at enhancing student achievement. Prior experience includes serving as the Science Academic Lead Teacher at Humble ISD, where instructional coaching and departmental leadership were key responsibilities, and as a Science Teacher at Beaumont Independent School District, teaching grades 4-8. L'Tunya holds a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration from East Texas A&M University, a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction in Middle School Science Education from the University of Houston, and a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Science in Elementary Education from Lamar University.
