Sean Sweeney is an accomplished professional in public safety and emergency communications with extensive experience in various leadership and technical roles. Currently serving as Maintenance Unit Supervisor at The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey, Sean oversees priority security projects and previously held positions as a Communications Equipment Specialist and Shop Steward. As President of Sean M. Sweeney Consulting, Sean provides consulting services at all governmental levels. Sean's background includes significant contributions to the Emergency Operations Center, enhancing interoperable communications systems, and managing emergency call routing initiatives. A former Firefighter/Ex-Captain with the Central Islip Fire Department, Sean has received honors for emergency response efforts and possesses a strong educational foundation in disaster and emergency management.
