Krystal Permanan

Krystal Permanan serves as the Senior Business Development Manager and FTZ 25 Manager at Port Everglades since May 2025, while also fulfilling the role of Business Manager for Economic Development at the City of Dania Beach, Florida since October 2024. Previously held positions include Airport Business Development Administrator and Economic Development Representative at the City of Fort Lauderdale, focusing on business development, retention, and outreach, as well as leading programs during the Covid-19 pandemic. Before that, Krystal worked as a Communication & Research Officer at the Consulate General of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, where marketing and event organization for trade and investment was key. Initial experience includes serving as a Vacation Advisor for Marriott International. Krystal holds an Executive Master's degree in Public Administration from Florida International University and a degree in Economic Development from the University of Oklahoma.
