Christina Gibson

Christina Gibson has extensive experience in educational leadership, currently serving as Superintendent at Eastpointe Community Schools since November 2016. Previous roles at Port Huron Schools include Turnaround Leader, Principal, Assistant Principal, and Educational Leader, where significant achievements include the deployment of over 300 iPads and 90 laptops, management of Title I budgets, and substantial increases in mainstreaming special education students. Additionally, Christina has developed strategic plans, provided professional development, and implemented programs aimed at student success. Academic credentials include a Master of Public Administration from the University of Michigan-Flint and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Albion College, among other qualifications. Prior to education, Christina held positions in aquatics leadership at Red Pine Camp and the YMCA of San Francisco.
