Anthony Evett, P.E. has extensive experience in engineering, serving as Chief Engineer and Vice President of Engineering & Facilities at the Port of New Orleans. Prior to this, Anthony held roles such as Project Manager at Volkert, Inc. and Quality Control Systems Manager at Shaw Environmental & Infrastructure, Inc. Anthony also worked as a Project Engineer at the Texas Department of Transportation. Anthony Evett, P.E. holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Civil Engineering from Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University.

Port NOLA’s container facilities are located at its upriver terminals at the Napoleon Avenue Container Terminal Complex, while breakbulk facilities are located upriver, downriver and on the Inner Harbor. The Port’s cruise terminals are located downriver at Julia and Erato Street. STATEWIDE ECONOMIC IMPACT: Maritime activity within the Port of New Orleans is responsible for 21,700 jobs, $4.3 billion of output and $76.8 million in state taxes. FEDERAL ECONOMIC IMPACT: An estimated 119,510 jobs in the U.S. are dependent on the cargo that is handled by the Port of New Orleans. Those jobs account for $29.8 billion of economic output.
