Lars de Vrij has extensive experience in project management and corporate responsibility within the real estate and environmental sectors. Since 2017, Lars has served as the Project Manager for spatial planning and environment at the Port of Amsterdam, focusing on key subjects including spatial planning, industrial safety, and the energy transition. Prior to this role, Lars worked as the Corporate Responsibility Manager at Redevco, where responsibilities included developing and managing corporate responsibility policies for a real estate portfolio, and as the Sustainability Manager at Vastned, overseeing the environmental management system. Additionally, Lars has a background in research, analyzing investment markets and advising on business strategies. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Economic Geography and a Bachelor's degree in Development Geography from the University of Amsterdam, along with additional training in project management and other relevant fields.
