Wilko Tijsse Claase

Wilko Tijsse Claase is an experienced legal professional currently serving as General Counsel at Port of Amsterdam since February 2003. Previously, Wilko held the position of Senior bedrijfsjurist at Royal Schiphol Group from April 1998 to February 2003, contributing to the organization responsible for operating Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. Wilko began a legal career at EY (formerly Moret Ernst & Young) as a Juridisch adviseur from September 1995 to April 1998, focusing on labor and corporate law, and prior to that, served as an Agent/Hoofdagent at Politie Haaglanden from July 1979 to September 1995. Academic qualifications include a Master's degree in Civiel recht / Bedrijfsrecht from Leiden University, completed in 1989, additional advanced legal courses, and participation in the General Counsel Executive Program initiated in 2021.
