Paul Parnell

Paul Parnell is a seasoned Control and Automation Engineer with extensive experience in electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical systems. Currently employed at the Port of Dover since May 2009, Paul has held various engineering roles, overseeing the installation, maintenance, and optimization of electrical and mechanical equipment. Previous roles include serving as an Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls Engineer at St Regis Paper Company Ltd, where Paul successfully led a project to upgrade cutting machines using ABB inverter drives, and working at M-Real, where Paul improved efficiencies and maintained electrical instruments in a paper mill environment. Paul’s educational background includes an HND in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Mid Kent College and a BTEC National Diploma from Canterbury Christ Church University.
