Glen Bachman

Glen Bachman has had a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Glen has served as the Commission President at Port of Everett since 2014. From 2014 to 2018, they were the General Manager/Branch Manager at Everett Mall. Prior to that, they were a Board Member at Washington Retail Association from 2008 to 2014. In 2013, Glen was the Past President of Potala Management, LLC at Path America, where they worked on developing a year-round market venue. Glen has also been a Past Board Member at BOMA King County, WA and NSCA. Glen worked at Kemper Development Inc. from 1989 to 2013, initially as the VP Retail Facilities and later as the VP Director of Retail Ops. Glen was also the Past Chapter President at Western Washington IREM in 2011. In 2008, they served as the Past Vice President of Membership at Institute of Real Estate Management. Glen's work experience dates back to 1982 when they were the Director of Operations at Frederick and Nelson, responsible for retail operations, merchandising, staffing, and asset management.

Glen Bachman has a BA degree in Marketing, Management from Eastern Washington University, which they obtained from 1973 to 1975. Glen also has a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management from the same university, earned during the same period. Glen pursued an Associate of Arts degree in Business Administration from Everett Community College from 1970 to 1973. Additionally, they hold several certifications, including Designated Managing Broker from the Washington State Department of Licensing, obtained in 2014; Certified Property Manager from the Institute of Real Estate Management, obtained in 2008; Certified Shopping Center Manager from the International Council of Shopping Centers, obtained in 1993; and Real Property Administrator from the Building Owner's & Managers Institute, obtained in 1988. Although there is mention of a certification as a Certified Retail Executive from the International Council of Shopping Centers, there is no specified year of attainment provided.
