Jason Rudd is a seasoned marine professional with extensive experience in marine engineering and surveying, currently serving as the Marine Engineering Superintendent at the Port of London Authority since 2006. Rudd's responsibilities include overseeing routine maintenance and defect resolution on a diverse fleet of vessels, ensuring compliance with vessel certification standards, and managing the vessel licensing department. Previous roles within the Authority include Deputy Marine Surveyor, Health and Safety Officer, and various positions in marine services, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of maritime operations. Rudd began a career in the commercial fishing industry as a Skipper and Owner with Seafish Trading, gaining significant hands-on experience with both small and large vessels. Rudd holds a B-TEC – NVQ 4 in Fishing Vessels and Maritime Operations from North West Kent College.
