Bekir Calim

Bekir Calim is an experienced Senior Project Manager at the Port of Rotterdam since 2007, specializing in corrosion control and ground flows. In addition to project management, Bekir serves as a member of the works council and participates in the Occupational Safety, Health & Wellbeing Committee and the Financial Committee. Prior to this, Bekir was a project manager at Corio Turkey from 2006 to 2007, where responsibilities included establishing a technical department and engaging with Turkish engineering partners for construction oversight. Bekir's career began at Dura Vermeer from 1994 to 2006 in various project management roles. Bekir holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences and has further education in construction and project management methodologies, including Baanbreker in de Bouw, IPMA, and PRINCE2.
