Joost Dekker

Joost Dekker is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in financial management and business control. Currently serving as a Business Controller at Port of Rotterdam since May 2017, Joost previously held roles including Management Trainee at YSE and (Junior) Business Controller at Eurofins Food Testing Netherlands. Earlier in the career, Joost worked as a Financing Specialist for Large Corporate Clients at Rabobank Almere, where complex advisory needs were addressed. Joost began professional experience as an Intern Account Manager at Rabobank Zuid-Holland Midden and also engaged in academic research at Rijksuniversiteit Groningen for both a Master's and Bachelor's thesis. Joost holds a Master's degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor's degree in Business Economics from the University of Groningen, alongside a Bachelor's degree in Horticulture from HAS Green Academy.
