Eric Soderlund is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in maritime operations and management. Currently serving as Maritime Operations Manager at the Port of Seattle since October 2022, Eric has previously held positions including Operations Manager and Operations Coordinator at PHOENIX PROCESSOR LIMITED PARTNERSHIP and Phoenix Processors LP respectively. An integral part of the International Pacific Halibut Commission for over 15 years, Eric excelled in various roles related to survey operations, fish sales, and data visualization, showcasing a commitment to continuous learning and professional development. Additional experiences include roles as Editor and Publicist at Cune Press, Translator at Think'z - IT Translation Service, English Teacher at Berlitz Language School, and North Pacific Fisheries Observer at Saltwater Inc. Eric holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science from Western Washington University and multiple certificates from the University of Washington in User Centered Design and Technical Communications.
