Louis P Cooper Jr

Louis P. Cooper Jr has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. From 2005 onwards, they worked at the Port of Tacoma, where they held various positions. In their most recent role, they served as the Senior Director of Security and Corporate Social Responsibility, with a focus on implementing the Port's strategic plan.

Prior to their tenure at the Port of Tacoma, Louis P. Cooper Jr served as the President and CEO of the Northwest Minority Business Council from 1999 to 2001.

Louis P Cooper Jr has a strong education history, with a focus on early childhood development and secondary education. In 1965, they attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and pursued a BS degree in Secondary Education for three years. From 1969 to 1971, they studied at Doane College Crete Nebraska and obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Secondary Education, Sociology, and Physical Education. Additionally, in 1990 and 1991, Louis earned a Master's degree in Early Childhood Development from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
