Prashant Ghorpade

Prashant Ghorpade is an experienced professional currently serving as a Terminal Operator at Port of Tauranga Limited since November 2023, focusing on container terminal operations, rail, research and development, and yard planning. Prior to this role, Ghorpade worked as an Operations Shift Manager at ISO Limited from May 2021 to November 2023, and as a Marine Cargo Surveyor at Intertek from June 2020 to May 2021. Ghorpade has a significant maritime background, having served as a Navigation Officer at Anglo-Eastern for a decade, where responsibilities included ensuring safe navigation and training watch personnel. Ghorpade holds a graduate diploma in supply chain management from The University of Waikato and a Bachelor's degree in Nautical Science from Indira Gandhi National Open University. Additionally, Ghorpade completed pre-sea training in Maritime Studies at Tolani Maritime Institute.
