David Delac

David Delac has held multiple roles in finance and management throughout their career. David became the Chief Financial Officer of Port Tampa Bay in 2019. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Financial Officer/Budget Officer for the County of Galveston, Texas from 2014 to 2019. In 2013, they worked as a Controller at WFN Consulting, Inc. and was a Budget Manager at the City of West Palm Beach, Florida in 2012. David also served as the Assistant Director of Finance at the City of Roswell, Georgia in 2011. Their earlier work experience includes being the Treasurer for IMB (International Mission Board) from 2008 to 2011 and the Director of Financial Services for the City of Fort Myers from 2001 to 2007.

David Delac received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Government from Auburn University in 1991. From 1992 to 1994, they attended Florida State University to obtain a Master of Public Administration degree, with a focus on Public Administration.
