Greg Lovelace has over 30 years of experience in business development and marketing, primarily in the maritime industry. Greg started their career as an Assistant Manager at Evergreen Marine in 1986 and worked there for 10 years until 1996. In the same year, they joined Port Tampa Bay, where they have held multiple roles such as Director of Marketing & Business Development - Cargo & Cruise, Senior Director of Business Development, and currently serves as Vice President of Business Development. Their work involved the development of cargo and cruise business for Port Tampa Bay with a focus on maximizing the utilization of port terminal facilities and working directly with shipping lines, beneficial cargo owners (BCO), and logistics companies.
Greg Lovelace attended the Darla Moore School of Business from 1980 to 1985, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree with a major in Management & Marketing. Greg continued their education and pursued a Master of Business Administration degree in Business Administration from the University of New Orleans, from 1990 to 1993.
