Port Tampa Bay
Laura L. Lenhart has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as Vice President of Government Affairs at Port Tampa Bay, which they joined in 2022. Prior to this, they were a Government Consultant at GrayRobinson, from 2020 to 2022.
From 2017 to 2020, Laura was the Manager of Government & Regulatory Affairs at Frontier Communications, where they managed the external lobby team and developed and executed the annual legislative agenda. Before that, they worked at Moffitt Cancer Center as a Public Affairs Strategist from 2014 to 2017 and as a Government Relations Contractor from 2010 to 2012.
Additionally, Laura worked as a Governmental Affairs Coordinator at the Florida Chamber of Commerce from 2012 to 2014, where they tracked the legislative process, hired support staff, and oversaw the construction of the organization's annual legislative report card. Earlier in 2010, they provided analysis of legislation that impacted Moffitt Cancer Center as a Government Relations Contractor.
Finally, Laura started their career as a Research Assistant at Mack Crounse in 2009 and worked as a Surrogates and Scheduling Coordinator at Southeast Regional Headquarters for the John McCain Campaign in 2008.
Laura L. Lenhart earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Florida State University in 2009, after attending the university for a period of two years. Laura L. later pursued a Master of Science degree in Political Science at the same university between 2009 and 2010.
