Stephen Jackson

Stephen Jackson is an accomplished Maintenance Superintendent currently employed at Port Waratah Coal Services since July 2020, contributing to an inclusive and diverse team. Jackson has a wealth of experience in the coal and mining sectors, previously serving as Coal Handling Preparation Plant Manager at Hunter Valley Operations and Yancoal Australia Ltd. Prior roles at Rio Tinto included positions such as Mine Maintenance Execution Manager, Mine Maintenance Manager, and various maintenance-focused roles. Jackson began a career at Bengalla Mining Company Pty Limited, holding multiple maintenance management positions, and has extensive experience from earlier roles at Rio Tinto in aluminium smelting. A graduate of the University of New South Wales, Jackson holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering, earned between 1986 and 1989.
