Angela Barkley has over 25 years of experience in the supply chain field. Angela began their career in 1996 as a Supply Chain Manager at Genesis Microchip, where they supervised teams, reported to upper management, served as a Supply Chain Team Lead for multiple initiatives, and supported the Director of Finance and Global Controller. Angela then moved to Solegear Bioplastics Inc. in 2012, where they served as the Global Supply Chain and Sourcing Manager, leading all aspects of the Supply Chain department and managing up to 40 suppliers. In 2017, they joined Loop Energy Inc. as a Supply Chain Lead, where they worked closely with engineering on sourcing and procurement of new and existing products, managed changes and impacts to existing and future orders and inventory, and oversaw procurement of raw materials and sub-contracted parts as well as procurement of equipment and capital items. Angela is currently employed as a Supply Chain Manager at Portable Electric.
Angela Barkley's education history includes a Leadership Certificate from the Schulich School of Business at York University, which they completed in 2007. Angela also completed a BAA in Fashion Design / Major Apparel Production Management from Ryerson Polytechnic University in 1992. Prior to that, they studied Logistics, Materials, and Supply Chain Management at the Supply Chain Management Association from 1998-2004. Before that, they attended Kwantlen Polytechnic University in 1987-1988, where they studied Fine Arts. Finally, they attended New Westminster Secondary School.
