Patrick van Deventer

Patrick Van Deventer has extensive work experience in the engineering and product management field. Patrick is currently the Director of Product Engineering at Portacool, LLC since June 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Trane Technologies for several roles including Senior Test Engineer, Product Manager for Indoor Air Quality, Product Manager for Value Outdoor AC & HP, and Product Manager for Coils, where they had P&L responsibility for the Residential HVAC and Supply strategic business unit. Patrick also served as a Product Development Team Leader, leading projects to redesign the entire manufactured A-coil product portfolio and meet new Dept. of Energy Standards, improve productivity, reduce SKU count, standardize design and manufacturing practices, and enhance quality and customer experience. Patrick began their career as a Component Engineer at Trane Technologies in June 2009.

Patrick Van Deventer received their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. In November 2018, they obtained the Certified Product Management Professional certification from Sequent Learning Networks.
