Vincent Valerio

Vincent Valerio is an experienced professional in the field of educational services and disability advocacy, currently serving as the Educational Services Manager for the Portage County Board of Developmental Disabilities since June 2021. As the owner and consultant at Valerio Consulting since May 2018, Vincent provides consulting, training, and advocacy services for families and providers in disability services, focusing on best practices in program development and person-centered planning. Previous roles include Executive Director of Steps To Transition, Upper School Director at Insightful Minds Community of Learning, Senior Director of Vocational Services at Steps Educational Group, and Assistant Director of Education at Achievement Centers for Children. Notable experience also includes leadership positions at The Arc Northern Chesapeake Region and Itineris Baltimore, as well as teaching positions at the University of Maryland Baltimore County and Towson University. Vincent holds an MFA in Sculpture from Towson University and a BFA in Sculpture from Youngstown State University.
