Mark T. Bielang

Mark Bielang has over three decades of experience in educational leadership, currently serving as the Superintendent of Portage Public Schools since July 2013. Prior to this role, Mark held the position of Superintendent at Paw Paw Public Schools from July 1995 to June 2013 and served as High School Principal at Ionia Public Schools from 1987 to 1995. Mark's educational background includes an Education Specialist degree in Educational Leadership and Administration from Central Michigan University, a Bachelor of Science in Trade and Industrial Teacher Education, and a Master of Education in Educational Leadership and Administration, both obtained from Western Michigan University.
