Rami Shahatit has a diverse work experience, starting in 2014 with an internship at Associated Students of the University of California, where they worked on addressing issues for Spring admits and planned an event. In 2016, they interned at Veritas Technologies LLC. Shortly after, they worked as an iOS Front-End Engineer at LookFwd, where they gained consumer insights and contributed to the successful prototype design of LookFwd 2.0. In 2017, as an Infrastructure Engineer Intern at Skycatch, Rami built AWS micro-services, created an AWS ECS worker, and developed a chat bot. Moving on, they joined Workday in 2018 as a Product Security Engineer II, where they developed a web application, automated interactions of various systems, and optimized data and application build pipelines. In 2021, Rami had roles at Gajo as a Product/Engineering member and at Blend as a Security Operations Engineer. Most recently, they co-founded Portal Labs, Inc. in 2022, taking on Engineering responsibilities.

Rami Shahatit started their education at Citrus Valley High School from 2010 to 2014, where they obtained their High School Diploma. Rami then attended the University of California, Berkeley from 2014 to 2018, majoring in Cognitive Science and earning a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree.

In 2013, Rami also had a brief period of study at California State University-San Bernardino, focusing on Arabic Language and Literature, although it is not specified if they obtained a degree from this institution.

In 2020, Rami enrolled at the NYU Tandon School of Engineering to pursue a Master's in Cybersecurity. This program is scheduled to be completed in 2022.

In terms of certifications, Rami obtained the GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) certification from GIAC Certifications in February 2020.
