Gianina Varea

Gianina Varea is an accomplished professional in the biotechnology sector, currently serving as the Director of Portfolio Development at Portal Innovations, LLC, where focus lies on enhancing fundraising strategies for portfolio companies. Previously, Gianina held various roles at Pyxis Oncology, including Senior Manager in Business Development & Alliance Management, where responsibilities encompassed identifying partnership opportunities, managing intellectual property portfolios, and forming strategic alliances. Gianina's experience also includes a role at the University of Chicago as a Technology Venture Fellow, contributing to significant fundraising efforts and development plans for life sciences ventures.
