Joanna Krakowiak

Joanna Krakowiak, PhD, currently serves as the Director of Lab and Scientific Operations at Portal Innovations, LLC, since March 2024. Prior to this role, Joanna held positions at NuProbe as a Senior Laboratory Manager and Laboratory Manager from July 2021 to February 2024. Between October 2017 and July 2021, Joanna worked at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) as a Senior Research Associate and Lab Manager. Earlier experience includes roles as a Technical Associate and Technical Assistant at the Whitehead Institute from October 2012 to October 2017, and a Postdoctoral researcher at Universidade do Minho from September 2010 to June 2011, focusing on Polymer Engineering. Joanna holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Polymer/Plastics Engineering from Universidade do Minho and has completed coursework at Harvard Extension School from 2012 to 2016.
